Difference:
1. The gear reducer is not self-locking. The worm gear drive is generally self-locking, the worm as the input shaft, the turbine as the output shaft.
2. The transmission ratio of worm gear reducer is generally much larger than that of gear reducer.
3. Worm gear reducer is the realization of intersecting shaft transmission (90 degrees). Gear reducer generally realizes parallel shaft transmission, but also intersecting shaft transmission (bevel gear, helical gear, curved gear, etc.)
