(1)、 Common problems and reasons
1. The reducer has heat and oil leakage. In order to improve efficiency, worm gear reducer generally uses non-ferrous metal as worm gear, and worm adopts hard steel. Due to the sliding friction drive, more heat will be generated during operation, resulting in the difference of thermal expansion between the parts and seals of the reducer, thus forming a gap between the mating surfaces. Due to the increase of temperature, the lubricating oil becomes thinner, which is easy to cause leakage.
There are four main reasons for this situation. One is the unreasonable collocation of materials; Second, the surface quality of meshing friction surface is poor; Third, the selection of the amount of lubricating oil is not correct; Fourth, poor assembly quality and use environment.
2. Worm gear is worn. The worm gear is usually made of tin bronze. The matched worm material is hardened to hrc4555 with 45 steel or hrc5055 with 40Cr, and then ground to roughness Ra0.8 with worm grinder μ m。 Reducer wear is very slow in normal operation, some reducers can be used for more than 10 years. If the wear rate is fast, it is necessary to consider whether the selection is correct, whether the overload operation, as well as the worm gear material, assembly quality or use environment and other reasons.
3. The transmission pinion is worn. Generally occurs in the vertical installation of the reducer, mainly with the amount of lubricating oil and oil varieties. When the vertical installation, it is easy to cause insufficient lubricating oil. When the reducer stops running, the transmission gear oil between the motor and the reducer is lost, and the gear can not get the proper lubrication protection. When the reducer is started, the gear is not effectively lubricated, which leads to mechanical wear and even damage.
4. The worm bearing is damaged. In case of failure, even if the gearbox is well sealed, it is often found that the gear oil in the reducer is emulsified and the bearing is rusted, corroded and damaged. This is because after the reducer has been running for a period of time, the condensate generated after the gear oil temperature rises and cools is mixed with water. Of course, it is also closely related to the bearing quality and assembly process.
(2)、 Solutions
1. Ensure the assembly quality. Some special tools can be purchased or made by ourselves. When disassembling and installing the reducer parts, try to avoid knocking with hammers and other tools; When replacing gears, worm gears and worms, try to select original accessories and replace them in pairs; When assembling the output shaft, we should pay attention to the tolerance fit; The hollow shaft should be protected with anti sticking agent or red lead oil to prevent wear, rust or scale on the mating surface, which is difficult to disassemble during maintenance.
2. Selection of lubricating oil and additives. Generally, 220? Gear oil is selected for worm gear reducer. For reducer with heavy load, frequent starting and poor service environment, some lubricating oil additives can be selected to make gear oil still adhere to the surface of gear when the reducer stops running, forming a protective film to prevent heavy load, low speed, high torque and direct contact between metals during starting. The additive contains sealing ring regulator and anti leakage agent to keep the sealing ring soft and elastic and effectively reduce the leakage of lubricating oil.
3. Selection of installation position of reducer. If the location permits, vertical installation shall not be adopted as far as possible. In vertical installation, the amount of lubricating oil added is much more than that in horizontal installation, which is easy to cause heat and oil leakage of reducer.
4. Establish lubrication and maintenance system. The reducer can be maintained according to the "five fixed" principle of lubrication work, so that each reducer has a responsible person for regular inspection. If it is found that the temperature rises obviously, or the oil temperature exceeds 40 ℃ or 80 ℃, the quality of the oil drops, or more copper powder is found in the oil, and abnormal noise is produced, it is necessary to stop using it immediately, repair it in time, remove the fault, and replace the lubricating oil. When refueling, pay attention to the amount of oil to ensure that the reducer gets the correct lubrication.
