Reducer is a common power transmission mechanism, which has been applied in various mechanical transmission systems. The installation and use of the reducer must conform to the technical specifications and standards, which is directly related to the operation effect and service life of the reducer.
1. During the installation of reducer, special attention should be paid to the alignment of the transmission center axis, and the error of alignment shall not exceed the use compensation of coupling used by the reducer. After the reducer is aligned according to the requirements, it can obtain better transmission effect and longer service life.
2. When installing the transmission parts on the output shaft of the reducer, it is necessary to pay attention to the soft operation, and forbid rough installation with tools such as hammer. It is better to install the transmission parts with the assembly fixture and the internal thread at the shaft end, and press the transmission into the reducer shaft with the force of bolt screw in, so as to protect the internal parts of the reducer from damage.
3. There are many types of couplings used in reducer, but it is better not to use steel fixed coupling. Such coupling has no radial offset compensation and is difficult to install. Once installed improperly, the load will be increased, which will cause damage to bearing and even break of output shaft.
4. The fixing of the reducer is very important. To ensure the stability and firmness, generally speaking, we should install the reducer on a horizontal foundation or base, and ensure the smooth oil discharge at the oil discharge port and smooth cooling air circulation. When the reducer is not fixed well and the foundation is unreliable, noise and vibration will occur, and the bearing and gear will be damaged unnecessarily.
5. The transmission coupling of the reducer shall be equipped with protective devices when necessary, such as protruding objects on the coupling or transmission by gear and sprocket. If the radial load of output shaft is large, the reinforced type shall be selected.
6. The installation position of the reducer shall ensure the operation of the staff, including convenient access to the oil mark, vent plug and oil drain plug. After the installation of the reducer is completed, the inspectors shall check the accuracy of installation position in order and determine the reliability of each fastener.
7. Before the reducer is running, it is necessary to prepare for operation. Remove the vent plug of oil pool and replace it with a vent plug. Open the oil level plug screw to check the oil line height, add lubricating oil beyond the oil level plug screw to overflow the hole, and then screw on the oil level plug and confirm it is correct, the trial operation can be started.
8. The trial operation time of the reducer shall not be less than two hours. The normal operation standard is that the operation is stable, vibration free, noise free, leakage free and shock free. If there is any abnormal situation, it shall be eliminated in time.
