When v ≤ 25m / s, the nozzle can be located at the meshing edge or whistling edge of gear teeth; When v > 25m / s, the nozzle should be located on the whistling side of the gear teeth, so that the newly meshed gear teeth can be cooled by lubricating oil in time, and the gear teeth can be lubricated at the same time.
General closed gear reducer transmission, the lubrication method depends on the size of the gear's circumferential speed. When the circumferential speed of the gear is less than 12 m / s, the gear teeth of the big gear are often immersed in oil for oil lubrication. In this way, when the gear is driving, it will bring the lubricating oil to the meshing tooth surface, and at the same time, it will also throw the oil to the box wall to dissipate heat. The immersion depth of gear in oil depends on the circumferential speed of gear. For cylindrical gear, it is usually not more than one tooth height, but it should not be less than 10 mm; The bevel gear should be immersed in the whole tooth width, at least half of the tooth width. The amount of oil in the oil pool depends on the transmission power of the gear. For the single-stage transmission, the oil demand is about 0.35 ~ 0.7lo for every IKW power transmission. For the multi-stage transmission, the oil demand increases exponentially.
