Heat and oil leakage

Selection of lubricating oil

For reducer with heavy load, frequent start and poor service environment, some lubricating oil additives can be selected to make gear oil still attached to the gear surface when the reducer stops running, forming protective film to prevent direct contact between heavy load, low speed, high torque and metal during startup. The additives contain sealing ring regulators and anti leakage agents, which keep the sealing ring soft and elastic, and effectively reduce the leakage of lubricating oil.
Installation location selection
If the location permits, vertical installation shall not be adopted as far as possible. In vertical installation, the amount of lubricating oil added is much more than that in horizontal installation, which is easy to cause heat and oil leakage of reducer.
Lubrication maintenance
The reducer can be maintained according to the "five fixed" principle of lubrication work, so that each reducer has a responsible person for regular inspection. If it is found that the temperature rises obviously, or the oil temperature exceeds 40 ℃ or 80 ℃, the quality of the oil drops, or more copper powder is found in the oil, and abnormal noise is produced, it is necessary to stop using it immediately, repair it in time, remove the fault, and replace the lubricating oil. When refueling, pay attention to the amount of oil to ensure that the reducer gets the correct lubrication.
Maintenance method

3. Too much fuel
During the operation of the reducer, the oil pool is agitated severely, and the lubricating oil splashes everywhere in the reducer. If the amount of oil is too much, a large amount of lubricating oil will accumulate in the shaft seal and joint surface, resulting in leakage.
4. Improper maintenance process
