1、 Installation of shaft mounted reducer

(1) Installation relationship between reducer and working machine

In order to avoid the deflection of the main shaft of the working machine and the additional force on the bearing of the reducer, the distance between the reducer and the working machine should be as small as possible without affecting the normal operation, and its value is 5-10mm.

(2) The connection between the reducer and the working machine

The reducer is directly installed on the main shaft of the working machine. When the reducer is running, the counter torque acting on the reducer case is balanced by the counter torque bracket installed on the reducer case or other methods. The other end is connected with the fixed bracket.

(3) Installation of counter torque support

The counter torque bracket should be installed on the side of the working machine facing the reducer to reduce the bending moment attached to the shaft of the working machine. Rubber and other elastomers are used in the shaft sleeve at the connection end of the counter torque bracket and the fixed support to prevent deflection and absorb the torque fluctuation.

2、 The use, maintenance and precautions of gear reducer

(1) When disassembling the reducer, hammer shall be avoided as far as possible to avoid damage to normal parts.

(2) If oil leakage is found at shaft extension or connection during use, seal such as skeleton oil seal shall be replaced in time.

(3) The gear reducer adopts 460 # medium load industrial gear oil, and the working environment temperature is 0-40 ℃.

(4) After 100 hours of first use, clean the inner cavity and replace with new gear oil, and then change oil every 2000 hours.

3、 Precautions for installation and use of reducer

(1) The reducer shall be firmly installed on a stable level foundation or base. The oil in the oil drain tank shall be able to be removed and the cooling air circulation shall be smooth. If the foundation is not reliable, it will cause vibration and noise during operation, and damage the bearing and gear. When the transmission coupling has protruding objects or gear and sprocket drive, it is necessary to add protective device. When the output shaft bears large radial load, the reinforced type shall be selected.

(2) The installation device shall be in accordance with the regulations to ensure that the staff can easily access the oil standard, vent plug and oil drain plug. After installation in place, the accuracy of installation position shall be comprehensively checked in order, the reliability of each fastener shall be tight, and the installation shall be able to rotate flexibly. The reducer adopts oil pool splash lubrication. Before operation, the user needs to remove the plug of the vent and replace it with the vent plug. According to different installation positions, open the oil level plug screw to check the height of oil level line, fill oil from the oil level plug until the lubricating oil overflows from the screw hole of oil level plug. After the oil level plug is screwed to ensure it is correct, no-load test run can be carried out, for no-load test operation, for no less than 2 hours. The operation shall be stable, without impact, vibration, noise and oil leakage, and any abnormality shall be eliminated in time.

(3) When installing the reducer, attention should be paid to the alignment of the transmission center axis, and the error shall not be greater than the compensation amount of the coupling used. Good alignment can prolong service life and obtain ideal transmission efficiency.

(4) When installing the transmission on the output shaft, it is not allowed to knock with a hammer. Usually, the driving part is pressed in by bolts by using the assembly fixture and the internal thread of the shaft end. Otherwise, the internal parts of the reducer may be damaged. It is better not to use steel fixed coupling. Because of improper installation of such coupling, unnecessary additional load will be caused, which will cause early damage of bearing and even fracture of output shaft in serious cases.
