1. The speed reducer should be firmly installed on a stable foundation or base, the oil in the oil discharge tank should be able to be eliminated, and the cooling air circulation should be smooth. The foundation is unreliable, which will cause vibration and noise during operation, and cause damage to bearings and gears. When there are protrusions in the transmission coupling or gears and sprockets are used for transmission, it should be considered to install protective devices. When the output shaft bears large radial loads, it should be reinforced.
2, according to the provisions of the installation device to ensure that the staff can easily close to the oil standard, vent plug, oil drain plug. After installation in place, the accuracy of the installation position and the reliability of the pressing of each fastener should be checked comprehensively in sequence, and the fasteners should be able to rotate flexibly after installation. The reducer is lubricated by oil pool splash. Before running, the user needs to remove the plug of vent hole and replace it with vent plug. According to different installation positions, open the oil level plug screw to check the height of the oil line, refuel from the oil level plug until the lubricating oil overflows from the screw hole of the oil level plug, screw on the oil level plug and make sure it is correct, then no-load test run can be carried out, and the time shall not be less than 2 hours.
3. When installing the reducer, attention should be paid to the alignment of the transmission center axis, and the error should not be greater than the compensation amount of the coupling used. Good alignment can prolong service life and obtain ideal transmission efficiency.
4. When installing the transmission parts on the output shaft, it is not allowed to knock with a hammer. Usually, the transmission parts are pressed in with bolts by using the assembly fixture and the internal thread of the shaft end, otherwise the internal parts of the reducer may be damaged. It is best not to use rigid fixed coupling, because improper installation of this type of coupling will cause unnecessary external load, resulting in early damage of bearing and even fracture of output shaft in severe cases.
