Among the commonly used centralized reducers, there are two types of reducers with self-locking function. There is often such a user consultation. The reducers used in my facilities require that they can brake (self lock), some are lifting equipment, some are parallel transportation equipment. So this kind of equipment only needs a self-locking reducer with ordinary brake motor? The answer is No. Especially for some lifting equipment, they need to lift the goods to a specified height and stop at a predetermined height. If the appeal scheme is used at this time, what will be the problem? It can stop running slowly in the predetermined position, but it can't stabilize the goods in the predetermined position. Because the turbine reducer with self-locking can only self lock one third of its own load, and this self-locking is not in the form of holding brake of motor, but the result of reverse operation of internal structure.

So which reducers are self-locking? There are two kinds: one is NMRV worm gear reducer, and the other is s series turbine helical gear reducer. These two kinds of reducers can realize the function of self-locking. However, in some places where the self-locking strength is relatively high, it is recommended to match the brake motor. Only the holding brake of the brake motor can be more effective. If it is used in some lifting equipment, it is suggested to replace the self-locking reducer with brake motor. And the internal structure of the reducer with self-locking will be worn to varying degrees after a long time of use, which affects the transmission efficiency and the originally bad self-locking effect.
