Although it has lasted for decades, it can not get rid of the problem of precision reduction caused by mechanical friction.

In June last year, Zhang Tianhong made the first generation precision magnetic deceleration prototype. Six months later, he formally incorporated the original company into the new registered company "super magnetic robot", and took the magnetic reducer as the starting point to manufacture an integrated power module.

At present, the second generation prototype of the "super magnetic robot" magnetic reducer has been produced, its cost and volume are 1/3 of the reducer products on the market, and the product delivery cycle is two weeks. The prototype has entered the test stage in the testing industry.

At present, Zhang Tianhong is seeking about 25million round a financing, with a transfer ratio of 10%. The funds are mainly used for R & D expenses and small-scale prototype batch production. Previously, he invested about 20million on the project.

Zhang Tianhong has been working in Japanese enterprises for more than 8 years. He has been in touch with the robot industry and has begun to study the mechanical reducer of robots. He believes that robots must be the future of automation. Reducer is an important core part of the robot power system, which is equivalent to the brake of the automobile. At present, more than 90% of the domestic reducer relies on import.

Two years ago, he founded "Herr technology", inspired by magnetic pumps, began to develop magnetic reducers. The reducer on the market is mainly mechanical, driven by gears. The service life of the reducer is limited due to the wear of the clearance between gears. So he tried to break the rules and use the magnetic field to make a non worn reducer.

It's a new technology area. Therefore, Zhang Tianhong began to visit professors and technical talents in various universities and industries at home and abroad extensively. He wanted to study a set of electromagnetic dynamics equations, and tried to prove the possibility of this idea from theory. While consulting domestic and foreign professors for theory, we have made every effort to practice. Access to financing

In June 2016, Zhang Tianhong made a prototype magnetic reducer, which has the function of deceleration, and it is the first time to prove the feasibility of the electromagnetic dynamic equation of zhangtianhong. After the high-precision prototype was launched in 2017, super magnetism obtained 9.6 million angel rounds of financing.

For the robot reducer, the main parameters are: deceleration ratio, back clearance, repetition accuracy and efficiency. The repetition accuracy of the prototype made by the team for the first time reached 0.01mm. The biggest advantage of the magnetic reducer is that there is no wear and the theoretical value of the repetition accuracy error is zero.

It is worth mentioning that, because it is completely proprietary technology, the delivery period of "super magnetic" products only takes two weeks, while the domestic reducer on the market takes 3 to 6 months from order to production, and 6 months to 1 year for imported reducer.

In June, Zhang Tianhong successfully developed the second generation magnetic reducer, with a volume of 2/3 smaller than the first generation, and the cost decreased by one third, and the accuracy reached 3 arcsec (accuracy unit, angular second, once 1.36percent).

Zhang Tianhong began to consider two problems: first, how to make the reducer more product; Second, what is the application scenario.

In order to solve the problem of product, only selling the reducer is certainly not good, and it is necessary to give users more convenient products. Therefore, based on the change of the maglev deceleration structure, Zhang Tianhong led the team to independently develop an integrated power module, which integrates the maglev reducer, driver, encoder and motor. "I hope to build robots like building blocks, just assemble the power modules, the body and the control system, and the cost can be reduced by 1/3," Zhang said

At present, 22 "super magnetic robot" technical team, together with nearly 30 consultants, have deep cooperation with Yale University, Pittsburgh University, Harbin University of technology, Harbin Technology University, Harbin Technology University, West Jiaotong University, central China technology and North Technology Co., Ltd.

Zhang said in September, they will release demo, a multi joint robot, and complete small-scale production of prototype in some special industries. In the future, the company will develop integrated modules in specific application scenarios in the medical industry, education and service industry.
